Basic Digital Electronics

Presenting digital electronics in a simplified manner, this text allows the student to easily understand the basic theory and mathematics of digital circuitry. The text begins with an introduction to binary maths by introducing the student to the 1s and 0s of the digital world. It then provides descriptions of digital codes, binary arithmetic and Boolean algebra, along with explanations of logic gates and families, and typical and complex logic networks. The text concludes with a general introduction to microprocessors.
