Beyond the Document

This book gives an insight into 20 years of Belgian photography by means of a selection of relevant photographs chosen by Bozar Brussel, Photo Museum Antwerp and Photo Museum Liege. The book discusses the possibility of a 'Belgian' School of photography as well as the differing styles of the photographers included. It includes works by Dirk Braeckman, Marie-Francoise Plissart, Carl De Keyzer, Gilbert Fastenaekens, Stephan Vanfleteren and many others.
