Collins Primary Technology

This first set of ten pupils' books covers Key Stage 2. Each book centres on a popular primary school topic, which is then divided into sub-topics to allow teachers maximum flexibility. There are cross-curricular links with history and geography, as well as with the core subjects. The pupil books have built-in recording and assessment opportunities. Progression from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 and through the levels is carefully catered for. At Key Stage 2 the books are designed to be used by the pupils themselves. One book, "We Are Inventors", is a complete reference book which the children can use to obtain information on materials, tools and skills.
