Because interface designs are often reverse engineered using component data or block diagrams that list only part numbers, technicians are often forced to search for replacement parts armed only with manufacturer logos and part numbers. This book was written to assist technicians and system designers identify components from prefixes and logos, as well as find sources for various types of microcircuits and other components.
