The book shows that far from being neutral, technology shapes and is shaped by the ideologies of its producers and users. This book offers a compelling narrative of those people and ideas that led to the development of Bible software, its vast commercialisation, and its widespread use on mobile devices, and thereby places Bible software in the context of the Bible's long and complex history.
