Disc Operating System Book

This text/workbook explores the purpose, capabilities, and limitations of operating systems in general and IBM (DOS) in particular. It examines the role of personal computers in the workplace, and explains the DOS system, batch programming and creation and use of batch files, how to format a bootable hard disk and how to design and manage a hard disk directory structure as described. System set-ups and installation of application packages are explored.
