ECD: 30 Years of Energy Conscious Design

Founded in 1980, ECD has travelled a long way in the intervening 30 years, and the road has not always been smooth. Along the way, they have had to endure a decade of lonely pioneering, followed by a decade of campaigning with like minds and, only more recently, a decade of being joined by the mainstream. As ECD embarks on its fourth decade, this book charts the journey so far, explaining the thinking behind many of their projects, and offering advice on what lies ahead as they strive with increasing urgency for a low carbon world.
