Faulkner's Conditional Conception: Nietzsche, Matisse, and If I Forget Thee, Jerusalem

This book reexamines William Faulkner's If I Forget Thee, Jerusalem (1939), a novel of increasing sociohistorical importance despite being one of Faulkner's lesser known and studied works.
