Fen

Fenella McCabe is a wistful, dreamy girl who works alone in the archive section of Trust Art, housed in one of the labyrinthine corridors of the Tate Gallery buildings. Her passion is Alfred Featherstonhaugh, a sculptor from the 18th century with whom she converses regularly. One of his most famous works was stolen in the 1930's, but Fen believes she has found a clue in the archives as to its whereabouts. When she is not trying to solve this art mystery, Fen is torn between two men. Matt Caulfield is 30 and editor of Trust Art Quarterly. James Holden is 50, wealthy, handsome, suave and affable.
