These attractive books provide everything teachers need to support their less able students and help them achieve NC level 5 at the end of Year 9. Clear and straightforward, the books are specifically designed to engage students working between NC levels 2-5. Each chapter matches a QCA Scheme of Work unit. Chapters open with a summary page outlining knowledge already gained at Key Stage 2 and the concepts to be covered. Each of the following pages is devoted to a key concept, supported by colourful diagrams which engage students. Summary questions are provided alongside a 'copy and complete' exercise, to reinforce what the students have learnt and the use of keywords. Chapters close with review questions for self assessment, including exercises to develop literacy.
