Global Change

This work is concerned wih assessing the impact of human activities on the climate, principally at a global scale. The question of the pressure on the global eco-system arizing from population expansion is considered, as is the question of pressures that are likely to arise from imbalance in the economic and social conditions of the developed "North" and the developing "South".
