
H.D.: A Bibliography, 1905-90
Synopsis
This is a bibliography of the British modernist poet H.D., who has become the subject of renewed interest. It lists all primary and secondary material by and about H.D., including descriptions of all editions and issues of her books. Part 1 contains all of H.D.'s works; Part 2 contains works about her. In Part 1, Section A lists in chronological order all the independently published writings by H.D., including all books and pamphlets other than proof copies. Section B contains first appearances of her contributions to books and pamphlets. Section C contains first periodical appearances of works by H.D., listed chronologically. Section D lists translations of H.D.'s works. Section E contains miscellaneous works, including musical settings, recordings, certain catalogues and programmes, and broadsides and postcards. In Part 2, Section F contains all reviews of H.D.'s work under the titles of the books: the reviews are listed chronologically according to publication date. Section G contains periodical articles that make significant references to H.D.'s life and work. Section H lists books and parts of books about H.D.
Section I lists all dissertations and theses that deal significantly with H.D. Section J contains miscellaneous works about H.D., including newspaper articles, published letters, catalogues, programmes, photographs, postcards and obituaries.
