Reacheresc
A lively paced thriller with plenty of twists and turns. If you’re a fan of Jack Reacher, you’ll appreciate the virtues of Aloysius Archer.
Disappointing
Very lightweight for such a well known author. The characters are one dimensional and the story not very believable. No real depth to the book at all.
Page turner
Baldacchi is a real favourite of mine and I couldn’t put this down. Archer is a great character, engaging and with humour. A real hero.
A poor second
A good read but reminded me of Reacher which I think is the reason for not enjoying it asmuch as I should have
