Prayers for the Assassin

America, thirty-five years in the future, a very different country from today's. It is now an Islamic Republic; calls to prayer echo across the cities and the Black Robes, the enforcers of public virtue, prowl the streets on the lookout for inappropriate dress or behaviour.
