Regions,Statistical Yearbook 2004

This edition for 2004 is the first to be compiled in compliance with the NUTS 2003 nomenclature, as well as the first to cover the enlarged EU of 25 member states, following the accession of ten new countries in May 2004. It contains a selection of recent comparable data on economic and social issues, including population; agriculture; regional Gross Domestic Product; household accounts; regional labour market; structural business statistics; health; tourism, and urban statistics. It contains a number of colour maps and graphs to identify differences and inter-relationships between regions and across national borders; as well as a CD-ROM with data tables providing key regional indicators from the REGIO database, and electronic versions of the publication in German, English and French.
