Spinal Imaging: Diagnostic and Therapeutic Applications

In this issue of Spine , the roles of CT and MRI have been heavily emphasized - roles which continue to reshape the approach to spinal imaging and are subject to intensive research and study as new applications unfold. Also included are techniques that are partially therapeutic, such as epidural and facet injections, but that also yield a significant amount of diagnostic information and, in terms of invasiveness, are relatively low risk in the hands of an experienced clinician.
