Start With a Question: Passionate Learning and Teaching in Secondary Schools

What if we ignited students' passion for learning by asking great questions? What if students had access to the best resources in every content area? What if students were empowered to explore? What if students could learn at anytime with anyone? What if learners could demonstrate their learning any way they wanted? What if students were so proud of their work they wanted to share it everywhere, not just in school? What if teachers experienced this excitement in their own professional learning? Notice throughout the chapters, technology is only mentioned a couple of times. This is because the goal of this book is igniting passion for learning in students and adding new passion for teaching in educators. Technology is integral to all of the strategies in all of the chapters, but the learning goals always come first.
