Sumptuous, the long awaited sequel to Delectable, continues the author's exuberant annotation of French and Cape recipes. It is in a similar vein, but it is more: more decadent, bolder, brighter and more beautiful. At the time of Delectable's publication, Marlene was not very well known outside of food and wine circles, but now she is extremely well-known, and for sumptuous, has teamed up with photographer, Gerda Genis.
