Teachers' Problem Solving: A Casebook of Award-Winning Teaching Cases

These nine cases were winning entries in a national US teaching case writing competition. They were selected on the basis of their realism, attention to cultural pluralism, style, complexity, opportunities for using professional knowledge, description of multiple perspectives, and for the fact that they allowed for multiple courses of action. The cases describe real-life problems that teachers face with students, colleagues, administrators and parents.
