John Finnemore solved Cain’s Jawbone as a lockdown project in 2020. The Researcher’s First Murder is Finnemore’s whodunit, the next challenge for fans of the original TikTok sensation and international bestseller. Join John at Foyles as he unravels the mysteries behind Cain’s Jawbone and introduces this new, addictive adventure.

John Finnemore is a British writer, best known for his shows Cabin Pressure, Double Acts, and John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme for the BBC. He has won many awards, including the Writer’s Guild of Great Britain Outstanding Contribution to Writing award in 2020. He also sets Listener crosswords for the Times, under the name Emu.

This event will be hosted by John Mitchinson, cofounder of the crowdfunded publishing company Unbound, head of research for QI, and along with Andy Miller the presenter of Unbound's literature podcast Backlisted.

The event will be followed by an audience Q&A and a book signing. Doors will open from 6:45pm.
