Exhibition: No One You Know: Dave Rowntree’s Early Blur Photos

Foyles Charing Cross Road presents an exhibition of drummer Dave Rowntree’s intimate, never-before-seen photographs of Blur at the start of their career, drawn from his new book, No One You Know.

No One You Know is a one-of-its kind document of what it’s really like to be in a young band during the vital first years, when everything is new, romantic and fresh – seen through the eyes of their drummer, and the lens of his Olympus OM-10.

Curated by Dave Rowntree, and on display exclusively at Foyles, this exhibition is a unique visual insight into the early years of one of Britain’s most successful and well-loved bands.

Dave Rowntree will be in conversation with Miranda Sawyer about the images featured in the exhibition and his memories of the formative years of the band on Tuesday 17th September at 7pm in the Auditorium at Foyles. More details and tickets HERE.
