Head to Foyles Charing Cross Road on Saturday 23 September 2023 for ESEA Lit Fest 2023, the UK’s first East and Southeast Asian literary festival, in partnership with the ESEA Publishing Network!

We’ve planned a day of panel discussions, in-conversation events, poetry readings and workshops featuring some of the most exciting voices in literature from ESEA writers in the UK and across the world.

The ESEA Publishing Network was founded in 2022 to amplify the voices of East and Southeast Asian writers and promote ESEA talent working across the UK publishing industry. ESEA Lit Fest is supported by Curtis Brown and C&W Agency, and Hachette UK and their employee network THRIVE.

Tickets are available for individual events or a Festival Day Ticket allows you entry to all four of the day’s panel discussions and the poetry performances. Please note that a Day Ticket does not include Asian Dessert Exchange breakfast (which is a separate ticket raising funds for Hackney Chinese Community Services) or the creative writing workshop with Rowan Hisayo Buchanan. Student/Low Income Tickets are reserved for students with a valid ID or those in receipt of Universal Credit or on low income.
