An Afternoon with Sayaka Murata
Sayaka Murata, the internationally bestselling author of Convenience Store Woman, and one of the most celebrated of the new generation of Japanese writers, comes to Foyles Charing Cross Road to discuss her work.
Sayaka Murata has won the prestigious Akutagawa Prize, as well as the Gunzo, Noma, and Mishima Yukio Prizes. She is the author of the 2018 Foyles Fiction Book of the Year Convenience Store Woman, Earthlings and Life Ceremony, published in English by Granta.
This event will be hosted by writer and critic Max Liu, whose journalism has appeared in numerous publications, including The Guardian,The i and the FT.
The discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A and book signing. Doors will open from 2:30pm.
