Sara and Cariad's Weirdos Book Club Live!

The event was originally due to take place on Thursday 25 January. It has been rescheduled to Tuesday 9 April at 7pm. All existing tickets are valid on this new date. If you can no longer attend, please follow the process through Eventbrite to receive a full refund.

Join comedians and authors Sara Pascoe (Out of Her Mind, Taskmaster, The Great British Sewing Bee, Comedians Giving Lectures, Guessable) and Cariad Lloyd (Griefcast, Austentatious, Alan Partridge, Peep Show, QI) for a very special live edition of their Weirdos Book Club podcast to celebrate the paperback release of Cariad’s book You Are Not Alone.

Welcome to the club. I’m still here now, all these years later. You don’t leave once you’ve joined; it’s a life membership. Grief eases and changes and returns but it never disappears. But it will be ok, you will be ok. Somehow you will be. You are not alone.

Weirdos Book Club is a space for the lonely outsider to feel accepted and appreciated. For this live show Sara and Cariad will be joined by some extra special guests including comedian and author Jo Caulfield and actor, writer and broadcaster Rhik Samadder.

Welcome to your new book club! Cariad’s paperback You Are Not Alone, published by Bloomsbury, is available to pre-order with your ticket (for collection on early release on the night of the event). There will be a book signing after the show.

Doors open from 6:30pm.
