Emt-Basic Curriculum Update Kit

This package is intended to help EMT instructors with their transition to the EMT-basic curriculum as released by the Department of Transportation. The kit contains two videos and a curriculum guide, and emphasizes the change from a diagnosis-based philosophy to an assessment-based curriculum. One video features a step-by-step demonstration of patient assessment given by professional emergency care providers, whilst the other video features key developers of the curriculum discussing, in a question-and-answer format, the changes and why they were implemented. The curriculum guide includes examples of lesson plans, highlights of the changes and procedures that have been added to the 1994 curriculum, and a synopsis of what material each lesson plan covers.
