Reviews: A Severed Head (1)
“Unfunny”
(Paperback)
This novel is supposed to be a black comedy about the sexual revolution. The characters were all extremely unlikeable and entirely selfish. They were careless with each other and riddled with snobbery. It is perhaps a novel that is very much of its time and I am not sure that it has aged well. Certainly I didn't find it in the slightest bit amusing. It was unbelievable and at times disturbing.
