I loved reading this as part of a buddy read with a group of friends. The four women have such different characters and are written so beautifully. I loved the descriptions of Paris and 1930’s Hollywood and felt they really brought to life the different eras. The narrative of the curse and it’s impact across the four women’s lives cleverly flowed through the story and little clues opened up as to the affect it had. A magical read.

A Witch in Time is a great treat for fans of "A Discovery of Witches". A Witch in Time tells a time-old story of a cursed love that spans different eras. When Helen breaks up with her husband and goes on a blind date, she finds herself discovering a lot more about herself than she bargained for. Helen very quickly finds herself discovering more about her past lives, a curse, and her powers. This book almost felt like 4 different books due but they came together in a way that worked to tell the overall story and it pieced together the puzzle nicely. My main irk was I often forgot Helens name as I was so used to reading about her previous incarnations.
