From photos online i can already with out a doubt say this is a beautiful book. And i shall admit, i only brought it because its not from jk r*wling and because i am rewriting the harry potter books.

I love this notebook, it's handbag sized, sturdy, the silver-gilt edging is a nice touch, the ribbon is very handy, the paper is smooth and it's fountain pen friendly. The pages are off white so not glaring and take fountain pen ink without ghosting or bleeding. It lies flat to write easily and the covers are sturdy enough it's easy to write on my knee in a pinch. I cannot recommend this little journal enough as a notebook. I'm using mine for NaNoWriMo 2019 prep and notes.

A highly detailed and accurate recreation of the HP Potion Book! Comes with metallic paper details on the hardback cover, and is an accurate size which adds to the realistic feel. 10/10 would purchase again.

Like all Harry Potter merchandise, this is ridiculously overpriced. My son bought it with his own money and I didn't realise at the time of purchase that it's just a small, blank notebook. For £16.99. I was expecting recipes and illustrations, from the cover. It's 'worth' about £5 at best.
