Tragic Story written amazingly. Loved this book even as it broke my heart.

I wasn't sure what to expect as this is the first dark fantasy book I've read but I'm absolutely obsessed with it, the worlds, characters and storyline had me hooked from the first paragraph. The writing is brilliant and as soon as I open the book I'm right there in that world, this is the best type of escapism I could of wished for thank you Senlinyu! its an absolute treat to be immersed into the world of Alchemised. I will be so sad to finish this book.

Alchemised was one of my most anticipated releases of 2025—and it did not disappoint! If I could give this book infinite stars, I absolutely would. It’s one of the most incredible and devastating stories I’ve ever read. The world-building and magic system was phenomenal, and I loved the necromancy and horror elements. This is a dark fantasy at its finest, with a love story threaded through it — but don’t go in expecting anything soft or fluffy. It’s full of gore, heartbreak, trauma, and moments that really make you question everything. At its core, Alchemised is a deeply human story about war, resistance, and the desperate lengths people will go to in order to survive. For the ultimate emotional meltdown, reread Part 1 after finishing Part 2—it will wreck you in the best possible way. You’re welcome. Endless thanks to the publisher for sending me a proof copy.
