“AMAZING”
(Paperback)
Just fantastic
one of those reads you cant put down
“Altered Perceptions”
(Paperback)
This is a really fast paced thriller where you become Andy McPhee. It is written in the first part.
The attention to detail is quite frankly amazing.
The author bring you into the story. The characters are all individually strong and believable
Some of the book is fiction but it is all based on fact
The places and some of the events are real
Now more than 25 years since the author left the military, he can kiss and tell in a story that brings together characters and events.
So a fact based fictional thriller that is so close to the truth, it is scary
You don't know the who, the why or the how until almost the end of the book
Clever use of red herrings along with tiny clues along the way.
Set predominately in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
This books was written over a year before the Novochek incident in the UK yet it could almost have been based upon it
The truth is sometimes stranger than fiction, but what happens when fiction is the truth?
I am looking forward to reading part two of the Andy McPhee Trilogy 'The Return of Seven'
“Altered Perceptions by Kenn Gordon”
(Paperback)
I started to read this book as I normally do my annual holiday
I tend to chose a book that is relatively substantial and this looked to be that sort of book
You know what its like on holiday you read a bit then go do other things.
I have to say I could do NOTHING apart from read this book.
The pace was amazing and the detailed information about the UK's Secret Biological weapons program was scary
The characters were so real and the style of writing make you personally the lead character .
I loved this book and have already started to read the second book 'The Return of Seven'
If you want a book that you cant put down then this is it
As soon as I have finished the second book I will be writing a review. Where has this author been hiding??Amazing, Fantastic, Thrilling
“A Good Read”
(Paperback)
I read the draft copy of this book and it is a very good read. There is a good plot with interesting characters. The details of places and organisations together with the twists and turns make it a page turner for anyone who enjoys a good thriller.
