It worked perfectly for my daughter allowing her to read small sections of text without being overwhelmed. The layout was varied to keep the book exciting and interesting for young readers.

My son enjoyed reading through this book and it is a great accompaniment to his learning about Ancient Egypt at school.He enjoyed all the facts. The book is well set out and also has quizzes dotted throughout. He especially enjoyed the hieroglyphics quiz.A good overview for primary aged kids.
