The imagery in this book is fantastic, Andy Saunders (nice bloke to talk to on Twitter as well) has done an amazing job in taking pictures we have all seen many times before but showing them to us in high definition clarity so that they appear as though we’ve never seen them before. They give a whole new perspective as we can now see the faces of astronauts that we couldn’t see before. There is also interesting information on each mission that each photo was captured during, each photo includes a caption that not only lists the technical equipment used but also quotes from the astronauts. Plus at the back for anyone interested there is also an extensive look into how Andy was able to remaster these photos and bring out details hidden for the past 50 years. Absolute gem of a book, would recommend to anyone who is a fan of space, history and photography.

This is just one of the most amazing and fantastic books that I have had over the years, the photos are absolutely incredibly unbelievably amazing, I am absolutely blown away by this book. The best book I have ever owned.

This collection of magnificent photos from each of the Apollo missions - which highlights a lot of interesting details and provides many unique viewpoints - conveys the wonder of journeying to the Moon as few other sources can. Strongly recommended.
