Reviews: Arian (1)
“Historical Fiction”
(Paperback)
by Louise Wilson
The Cordwainers #4 Arian often shocked the residents of World's End with her wild behaviour. As she began to make a name for herself in the shoe making business, she wins the wins the backing of the intriguing and charismatic Calvin Temple. But Adrian and Calvin's venture with a French company failed,it looked like it looked like they were going to loose all of their money. Ariam sets out for France hoping to salvage their investment . All good things come to an end and this is the final book in the Cordwainers series. These books have all been descriptively written. The characters are well rounded and believable. Things go from bad to worse when Arian gets to France. She finds herself on the wrong side of the law. She has a hard decision to make. Will she end up in jail or find herself in a loveless marriage with a man she despises. I've really enjoyed this series and I will read more from Iris Gower in future. I would like to thank #NetGalley, #RandomHouseUK #TransworldPublishers and the author #IrisGower for my ARC in exchange for an honest review. #Arian
