“Mastering the Mosaic - A Deep Dive into Azul”
(Game)
Having delved into the vibrant world of Azul with friends, I can confidently say it's a gem of a board game. Despite its initially daunting appearance, the game's straightforward instructions quickly won us over, leading to a fantastic time for all. The gameplay's blend of strategy and simplicity kept us engaged throughout. As a quirky twist, I already had similar tiles in my kitchen, jokingly attributing any in-game luck to this coincidental decor. Azul truly left us all with a memorable and enjoyable gaming experience.

“Azul game”

Azul is suitable for 2-4 players, I really enjoyed playing it with just 2 players. It is suitable for age 8 upwards, but the younger ages might need help with the scoring. It has a good mix of strategies and luck, whilst being aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I loved the game theme and story as it really makes you want to win. We all really enjoyed it and would thoroughly recommend it.
“The game's beautiful components and tactile experience add to its overall enjoyment.”

We really enjoyed playing Azul.Players take turns drafting coloured tiles to complete patterns on their
individual player boards, scoring-points based on placement and completion of rows and columns. The rules are pretty easy making it accessible to newcomers, yet its depth of strategy appeals to seasoned gamers. The game's beautiful components and tactile experience add to its overall enjoyment. We like how bright the tiles are and it's fun watching your patterns grow and come to life. It's for 2-4 players age 8+ The average playing time per game is around 30-45 minutes so it might be beyond some younger children's attention span. Overall we think Azul is a fantastic choice for both casual and serious board gamers alike. We are going to be playing this a lot.
“Such a fun game”

Azul is such a beautiful game it's so colourful and really well made. We did have a little trouble with the scoring to start with but after checking out a few videos online, we managed to get out head around it.
A great addition to games night and so much fun. My kids loved it and picked it up so quickly which was great. The main aim of the game is to fill the blank part called the factory offer with the correct amount of tiles before they go over to your wall at the end of the round. You need to fill up the tiles and score as many points while doing it before getting a full line across. You have to be tactical and think about what your doing to try and win. Very addictive game.
