“Logical, tactical game”
(Game)
Definitely recommend for age 12+. The rules take a lot of reading and re-reafing to understand. A long aim with lots of smaller steps that add together. Lots of clever strategy and logic involved in playing this game. Clever historical links.
“Visually stunning, amazing quality. Needs time to master”

The game is beautiful!
Tactile chunky game tiles that feel like great quality.
Storage bag is patterned and again fab quality!
I felt I got a game that will last a long time.
The game it’s self isn’t too hard to understand. Pick tiles to fill rows, fill a row and move them to your wall to “tile” it.
There is strategy to picking your tiles and rows to try and force your opponent(s) to get minus points by them having to take unneeded tile patterns.
The scoring is where we struggled…
It’s quite complex and funnily enough the children seemed to pick it up quicker than us oldies!!
Does need concentration and strategy.
It was the fact it took us quite a few plays to get the hang of it. Anyone who struggles with numbers may get put off easily and give up on it..
“Great fun but also very complicated”
(Game)
There are around 5 pages of rules which is immediately off putting, however after watching a few youtube videos and slowly learning the rules we had lots of fun; that being said i still fully believe this game is more suited for teenagers upwards and not the recommended age of 8+. On the other hand, the game is very asthetically pleasing and also very sturdy so this will be a lon lasting game for us.
“Lots of rules but a relaxing game”
(Game)
We thought we’d struggle with this as there’s a lot of rules but we took it step by step and got the hang of it. Found I enjoyed the slow pace and calmness of this game for a change on our board game nights. Kids managed to understand most of it and think it’d work well as one to play with friends on a an evening
“Tricky tiles”
