“Lovely looking game but a bit complicated”
(Game)
This is a lovely looking game and I so wanted to enjoy it!
However I played with my husband, my 10 year old and my 8 year old. We couldn’t really understand the rules, even after watching a YouTube video on how to play.
I’m sure if you have time to work it out, it’ll be a great game. But unfortunately we just couldn’t understand the rules. I will get round to having another go at understanding it because it does sound like a great game.
“Shock and awe”
(Game)
Initially it’s a shock when you see the game and its rules but once you get started you’ll be in awe of just how good and simple this game is. Each time it’s gets better as you get better at it
“Instructions could be clearer”
(Game)
The packaging is very vibrant and all pieces and boards are neatly packed and fit in the box.
The tiles are well made, and great vibrant colours.
The instruction booklet is big, however we felt that they were a little difficult to follow. We had to play the game and work out rules as we went along, jumping around on the instructions.
Once we did start playing we started to understand the rules and were able to play the game.
Overall, it's easy and fun to play. A little bit of strategy and luck required. I played with my 8 year old and she was able to follow along.
“Beautiful game to play”
(Game)
This games looked beautiful but I just find it way to hard to understand how to play it and what is actually goin on, me and my daughter read the instructions over and over but it’s just to tricky to understand
“Great game for a quiet night in”
(Game)
I love the way the game arrived. nice packaging beautiful colours and very inviting for a visual learner like myself.
We first tried to make sure we read the rules before gameplay started and the scoring confused us a lot.
we played round after round without scoring when my teenage son said " I'm strategising without realising it"
It's a fun game to play for a few hours a few times a week still getting my head around the scoring.
Will keep playing and the more we play the easier it is to develop an understanding. this game is a keeper.
