“Love it, great game”
(Game)
I love this game. Its quite strategic and you need to read the rules to understand play and scoring. Playing against the bot on the app helped greatly before sitting down with my family to play. It appropriate for adults and older children. It can be played with a minimum of two players going up to 4 and the length of the game depends on the the draw of the tiles and in some cases the players have the power to end the game depending on how they have completed their board. its really easy to set up, you're ready for game play within minutes. Its strategic but not too taxing on the brain, towards the end of each round its to fun watching players realise they may be left with all the unwanted tiles and will loose points. We will be playing this game often, its really addictive once you start, we played several games in an evening. Its lots of fun for all. One of the best games I have played in a while. LOVE IT!
“Well what can I say”

It really does get you thinking. A fun game to play with all the family, once you get your head round the scoring. Playing with two people does help get your head around things then get more after. If you are struggling to work it out there is an app you can download to help
“Great for gamers and non gamers alike”
(Game)
Azul is a lovely aesthetically pleasing tile placement game. The rule book is easy to follow and as board game hobbyist we picked this up rarely quickly but then also managed to introduce to non gamers of 50+ who never played much past the classics. Its quick to set up and tidy away and so much fun between. There is a nice amount of strategy of where to place your tiles etc but no sure fire win for one strategy as it all depends what tiles others take or leave for you which can result in hefty minuses. Definately recommend this game!
“Great family game”
(Game)
Portuguese origin game. Azulejos means tiles so the name makes a lot of sense. The game is a lot of one once you understand the rules. You have to collect each colour tiles in a row to end the game and you get points after each turn however the person with most points wins not the person that gets the first line . We loved it and be playing it often not just at home but we take it round friend's house too. Easy to follow player with a 7 and 8 year old and they only needed help with adding point
“Something a little different - great find for games night”
(Game)
We (adults & 2 children, 14 and 11) LOVE playing Azul - it's become a firm family favourite. It's a very visually appealing game but when you open the instructions you may be a bit daunted - but really, don't be! We soon got into the swing of it (also watched a couple of YouTube how-to videos, which helped) and all started getting into the tactics. Be warned, it rapidly becomes quite addictive:) Not a criticism - it's definitely not a 'play it once then leave it on the shelf' game. Thoroughly recommend.
