This book is far better than I expected it to be: not only is the information eruditely written and well presented by an author who is clearly passionate about the Bauhaus, but the pictures are huge, beautiful, well chosen and well annotated. Not only is every aspect of the Bauhaus curriculum studied, from metalwork to theater and dance, but the politics of the school and the stories of the people who ran and studied at the Bauhaus are also covered in great detail. In summary, this book is not only very informative but also beautiful to leaf through.
