This book is an insight into an amazing woman. It tells her story from childhood to forging her own career and falling in love with Barack and raising their two daughters in the Whitehouse. This is an honest inspiring account of Michelle Obama's life which I would recommend.

A compelling book - such a pleasure to read! Michelle Obama writes honestly and from the heart of the themes of love and responsibility to herself, her husband, her children, her family and those for whom she has become a role model. At the end, I felt like I wanted to continue the conversation either at her kitchen table or mine.

4.5/5 stars! I enjoyed this very much and I learned a lot from it. Prior to reading this memoir, I knew surprisingly little about Michelle, expect who she was and that she was extremely popular. I am not American and I am not too familiar with politics in the US so I did not know much about what Michelle accomplished during her time as the First Lady so first and foremost this made for a very educational reading experience

Excellent read. Interesting and well written. Would definitely recommend this book to everyone.
