I am very happy to recommend any of Jo Spain's books, each one that I have read so far has been brilliantly plotted, and so very tense that the pages simply turn themselves long after you should have gone to sleep! This is the second in her series and it's fabulous - another excellent book in UK Lockdown! If you love crime thrillers and you haven't yet read Jo Spain then you are simply missing out.

This is the second of the DI Tom Reynolds series. Set in Dublin, a political adviser has been murdered. DI Tom Reynolds and his team set about piecing the jigsaw together. I have not read the first book in the series, but that did not have any effect on my enjoyment of this novel as it reads well as a stand alone novel. This story sets off at a fast pace and is a real page turner. The story is well developed and the characters are believable. This is the first Jo Spain novel that I have read and I would highly recommend.
