“Amazing book”
(Paperback)
I loved this book from the start and couldn’t stop reading however the only thing that put me off was the size of this book but don’t let it put u off it’s amazing definitely recommend
“Amazing no matter how many times you read it”
(Paperback)
One of my all time favourites, I’ve read it multiple times now along with the rest of the series, I cannot wait for releasing 10 to come out so we can finally see Lizzie’s perspective. She perfectly uses colloquial language and makes references to canonically Irish things that makes the book feel so real. Her characters are amazing and the way she is able to make such blatantly good and bad characters as well as controversial ones (like Lizzie) is amazing.
“Binding 13: Tough Love, Rugby, and Healing”
(Paperback)
Binding 13 tells a deeply emotional story about Shannon Lynch, a young woman trying to start over after years of bullying and abuse, and Johnny Kavanagh, the school’s rugby star with his own personal struggles. Their relationship isn’t a fairytale—it’s a slow-burn romance grounded in real-life challenges. The book explores themes of trauma, personal growth, and healing, making the romance feel authentic and emotionally resonant.
Shannon’s journey is compelling because she confronts her past while learning to trust and open herself to love. Johnny is equally layered, balancing confidence with vulnerability, which creates a dynamic, believable connection between the two. The combination of character development, realistic struggles, and emotional tension makes this story stand out among contemporary romance novels.
Some readers may find the pacing slower at the start, as the book takes time to build atmosphere and delve into Shannon’s internal struggles. Additionally, the themes of abuse and trauma are intense, which can make some parts emotionally heavy. However, these elements also give the story depth and make the characters’ growth more satisfying.
Final recommendation:
Binding 13 is ideal for readers who enjoy romance with emotional depth, realistic challenges, and slow-burn character growth. It’s a story about resilience, healing, and the messy, rewarding process of finding connection after hardship.
