Reviews: Brain Defenders (1)
“Interesting. Informative.”
(Paperback)
BRAIN DEFENDERS - I treated this intriguing book as a text book, so I read two or three chapters a day. I wanted to learn the material presented by the author. The book is easy to read and understand, even with the medical vocabulary. This reinforces that the body is a unit composed of parts that work together, not individually. Many problems we have do not require medications but changes to behavior, diet, and mindset. Prevention, not reaction is stressed. Many diseases are explained and how changing what we do and put in our bodies can reduce, prevent, or cure. Of course, the younger the changes are made, the better. But there is hope for the older population. Interesting. Research notes. Helpful to understand certain diseases and what can be accomplished healthwise. Source: Won a GoodReads Giveaway.
