Read this in one sitting and gripped by this authors knack of storytelling and literacy technique. Fear and trepidation induce goosebumps and hair tingling. Loved it and won’t be long before I find more of this mans work. I sense the enthusiasm for his craft and I believe one of the best at this time in the horror genre. 5 stars*****

Highly recommend this book. Smith expertly builds a nightmarish atmosphere that kept me on edge the whole time I was reading this clever little book. It's a seriously dark story, sometimes shockingly gruesome with twists you really don't see coming.

Well I have to say I was tootling along happily with this book and identified with the characters and the geographical setting really well and then Boom ! I didn’t expect this to happen ! There’s certainly some disturbing aspects of the story which actually work brilliantly for this genre …. I best not say any more as there’ll be spoiler alerts ! Gripping reading x

A gruesome story that will have horror fans gripped from the first page. Watch out Stephen King. Mark Anthony Smith may be about to knock you from your pedestal.

Gripping, nightmarish... kind of felt like I was having some kind of trip. Hard Man of Horror strikes again with a twisted tale that kept me guessing throughout... And also guessing at the end. Demolished it during my dinner time (maybe not the best idea on my part) and picked it up again the next day. It's a story that kept giving and I noticed tiny details each time I read it. Would 100% recommend to any horror fans looking for a quick read.
