Reviews: Daodejing (2)
“Daodejing”
(Paperback)
This book is an ancient Chinese text written over 2000 years ago. There have been many translation. Not having read any other translation I cannot provide a comparison on the translation. The subject is moral guidance and philosophy. I like to read this type of subject. The text is enigmatic and concise. I did enjoy reading this book and thought on a number of times I wish our political leaders would act in accordance with the concept suggested. It certainly made me think how wise were these ancient people.
“Written as if the author drunk”
(Paperback)
My issue is with the introduction and the meanings of each passage. Most of it is grammatical incorrect and is nonsensical as if the author didn’t didn’t learn any basic SPaG in school.!Don’t buy it it’s a waste of money
