“Daylight by David Baldacci”
(Paperback)
by Christine Rennie
FBI Agent Atlee Pine is still searching for her twin sister, Mercy who disappeared when they were six. Unfortunately, the search also clashes with John Puller’s high stakes conspiracy case, the military investigator and FBI agent will end up investigating a global conspiracy that neither of them will ever forget. It is a terrific read, with many twists and turns and eventually Atlee will learn more about her sister’s disappearance, that she ever expected and be closer to learning the truth about what happened to Mercy. Highly recommended
“Another brilliant read”
(Paperback)

Wow, I loved this book. It was fast paced, full of suspense and had so many twists along the way. Atlee Pine is trying to find out what happened to her sister who was taken over 30 years ago. Her leads take her to a person who is also being investigated by someone she knows and they combine forces and work together. There were so many different threads going on in the book which I really liked and it had everything - conspiracies, murders and a great, well thought out plot line. I love the authors writing style and was drawn in from beginning to end. He has created such believable, feisty, determined characters you just root for. I hope we see more of Atlee Pine and look forward to the next book. Just loved this read.
“Great addition to the series”
(Paperback)

A heart pounding rollercoaster from the very first page. Plenty of twists and turns you don’t know who to trust. FBI agent Atlee Pine is on a continuing search for her twin sister kidnapped 30 years ago. She joins with agent John Puller as their respective investigations collide. A book you will read long into the night. You’re not able to put it down. I received a free review copy from the publisher in exchange for my honest unedited feedback.
“Fast paced thriller”
(Paperback)
by Catherine Craig Angelic Light
This is the third book in a series, a thriller about a woman called Atlee Pine, who is an FBI Agent looking for her twin sister Mercy who was abducted at age 6. Atlee is a tough, fierce and loyal woman, who is strong minded and independent. In this story, she continues her search for Mercy, and she finds a lot of clues as to what has happened to her and who it was who took her. She gets caught up in military investigator's case, which leads her into a global conspiracy. Fast paced, and full of tension and suspense, this book kept me captivated and engrossed throughout. Highly recommended!
“Tapering off…”
(Paperback)
by Maddie C
The book is alright, but I haven’t been as gripped as the previous books in the Attlee Pine series. I think some of it is just a bit cheesy and unrealistic… Atlee herself, I get she is a strong independent woman, but it is very evident that she has been written by a male that is really trying to push that strong independent woman narrative and ultimately nothing else, it’s quite disappointing. It’s a bit cringe to read as a woman and can be quite predictable. It reads like a cliche female spy movie on a budget. The narrative itself it’s really intriguing and for 3 books I’ve been wanting to know what happened to Mercy but each book the same thing happens “where’s our Mercy? Guess ill go find her” “o no agent pine plz something else haz happened plz go and see to it” “but I’m lukin for me sister” “no no we need to milk the readers of their money first and stretch it out into 4 books”. So I’m really tired of reading them now and I can’t even be bothered to read the last one to find out what happens to her
