Reviews: Devil's Child (1)
“Heartbreaking & Emotional”
(Paperback)
by Stacey
I never normally read real life story books and this was my first time. The heartbreak and emotion was unbelievable. When Jerry was put up for adoption at 3 months he went to live in a childrens home that was run by nuns and one day the torture and torment started at such a young age and there was no escape from it all, the older he got the worse it got. I went through so many emotions that I've never felt before, I just wanted to leap in the book and help this young boy, who was tortured, tormented and abused. When jerry got older it was hard to come to turns of what happened to him and he didn't want to live anymore, but he stayed strong and am glad he did. This story is truly compelling, heartbreaking and emotional. For people who haven't read a true story, read this one!
