I found the initial set up tricky and somewhat confusing. Children were a little frustrated because I had to read the instructions several times to understand the concept, plus there was a small amount of construction required. Once we got into the swing of the game fun was had by all. As everyone else has mentioned the illustration are beautiful.

We had such high hopes for this game BUT it did not deliver. We are avid board/card players with an array of eclectic game genres but found this fell short either being so obvious or far beyond that everyone just felt despondent and deflated during game play and just went through the motions to complete. I know we seem to be the minority here so maybe just no a great fit for us but everyone is different (thank goodness) so everyone should try it for themselves.
