Reviews: Drive (1)
“What an interesting book!”
(Paperback)
by Lewis Cooke
I recently purchased Drive. As like many newly graduated students, Lockdown has been difficult for everyone including those of us just starting our careers. I haven't properly taken the time to read a book in the best part of two years like I have done with this one. It is a super interesting deep dive into how scientists and researches have been trying to find out what motivates us over the last 70 years or so. From scientific tests with primates to challenging how the modern world needs to adapt for our ever changing work/home lifestyle balance and how our workplaces are ever changing to suit our own needs. This book so far has been immensely insightful for myself and helped me to re-consider how to be more motivated and driven to do the things that I enjoy and make me happy in life. Well worth the 9.99 I paid for it, and will continue to be a new favourite on my shelf.
