the best of all the books, everything comes to a climax here and this book completely resolves all the confusion from twilight and new moon :) i just loved it

Well, if you think the first and second book in the series are good, then this third volume to the saga will be fantastic for you. There are loads going on in the book which makes it such a good read. Time is getting closer to her graduation, and the time for her being turned into an immortal creature(whether she chooses the Carlisle option -change after graduation or the Edward option-change after they get married) , Bella must decide which route she is going to take and the consequences and scarifices she has to make. On the other hand, mysterious killings starts to occur in Seattle which draws the attention of the Cullens. And guess who's behind this? Well you do not need to know rocket science to be able to answer this question if you have paid attention when reading New Moon. Off course it's Victoria. She makes a group of newborn army to help her to revenge the Cullens for killing her partner James. And hence the Cullens turn to Jasper, the newest member to the family for help. Jasper then gives a brief history of himself which also explains why he will be so good at the task. I like this as we do not seem to know who he is or where he's come from in the first two books, kind of mystery unfolded. Still a bit short of forces, the Cullens turn to other friends or coven for help but get nothing. Finally, they get the wolf pack of Jacob involved under the most usual circumstances, and the formation of this alliance is really, I think, a big turn in the book-and well, don't want to spoil you all, this will have a big impact on the story afterwards. On one hand, Bella is under constant fear of the newborns and Victoria, on the other hand, she's been thinking about her choice. Rosalie and Jacob fill the role of putting her into persective and remind her of the things she will miss as a human. Rosalie, in my view, has been horrible(kind of bxxch, sorry for my language) in the first two books-the known dislike towards Bella, misinformed Edward of Bella's death etc but this book has really done her character some justice. She accounts her pre-human life and how she became a vampire, which is not her own wish. This helps explain where all the hate she has toward Bella is coming from. Jacob on the other hand, confesses his love for Bella in the hope that she would change her mind. Throughout the story, you can see how both clans/parties, come to terms with their differences and form an alliance which finally destroy the outside threat. However, during the process, you can also see the clash between Edward and Jacob towards Bella. It's not just a conflict of the two moral enemy but more about the "being human" side of Jacob and "being immortal side" of Edward. This also makes Bella comes to realize her feelings for Jacob(which I think it's too late), which she's been denying all the time and wonder if she has made the right choice. In the end, not suprisingly, she chooses Edward and leaves Jacob in agony. Personally, I can understand her choice but I have to say I do feel so sad and sorry for Jacob-you will understand when you read the epilogue. Overall I think it's an incredible read, packed with lots of chills, actions and most of all romance-all the things you want in one volume-really cannot get anything better than this!!! I know they are going to release a movie based on the New Moon but I have to say I am really looking forward to the movie for this to come out-heard it's June 2010, it's going to be a big hit

Everytime I thought I knew what team I was on: Edward or Jacob, this book made me change my mind everytime I turned the page. The last few chapters of the book made me cry so much, Stepehenie Meyer really knows how to melt your heart and makes it so easy for readers to empathise and sympathise with all the characters.The book is compelling, and I found myself waking in the middle of night to read it because I could not resist, at all.The Twilight Saga is, without a doubt, the best set of books I have ever, and will probably ever, read.

I love all stephenie meyer books, i have read eclipes on my recent holiday in canada, the daughter of the mans house we were staying in had a copy of eclipes, wich was convinient a: because we were there for a month b:because i had just fineshed new moon i have seen twilight, but not the recent movie, new moon. , the book is way better than the films, but the films are still great.

All i can say is this book was excellent i cannot wait to read the next insallment, it wowed me.
