This book is so good it is lifechanging. It, along with the preceding parts of the saga (Twilight and New Moon) are a great example of subtle fantasy/horror writing which has the whimsical narrative of the pre-1914 authoresses and the sexual tension of a modern novel (minus the smut). Stephenie Meyer is a genius and unappreciated in this country.

I enjoy all the twilight books but this one especially grabbed my attention. With the more action, romance and the ever growing love complications, Eclipse is a triple threat to any other contenders. G'Won Stephenie Meyer!

Eclipse is definately my favourite book in the series. Lots of story lines are tied up in this book, I love the whole Jacob aspect. Just wish Charlie featured more as he is my favourite character! I would be more than happy if the saga finished with Eclipse as Breaking Dawn spoils it for me.
